Knights of Columbus - Kentucky State Council
State Newsletter

Since taking on the task of producing a State newsletter back in 2001, more than 50 monthly newsletters have been published including three from Baghdad, Iraq when your editor was putting in a short stint helping the US Government solve Iraq's electrical production problems.  Putting a newsletter together requires more than a bit of effort for a product that strives to meet the needs of the State Council and Knights across Kentucky.  Information about recent, ongoing or future events and programs must be assembled, articles must be written or solicited, and (since a picture is worth a thousand words)  photographs need to be obtained.  Many of Kentucky's councils, assemblies, circles and auxiliaries are helping out by forwarding announcements of special events, pictures and stories, and copies of their monthly or bimonthly newsletters.

Our newsletter will only be a good as your input.  Yet, the newsletter can be a great tool for your organization.  Distribution goes to Supreme, to most of the State and Province jurisdictions throughout the order, and to individual Knights throughout the USA who have signed up for our electronic distribution.  We also have distribution of our newsletter to Africa, Australia and Europe!  The better our newsletter becomes, the greater the demand.  Likewise, how well you advertise a future event or tell your brother Knights about a successful program or function impacts on the success of your programs and events.

With increases in circulation monthly, we're looking for sponsors to help defray the cost of maintaining our internet presence.  Sponsors will be provided an advertising space on each monthly and special newsletter, plus a custom designed "Sponsor's Page" on the State's popular award winning website.  Contact your editor for details.

Keep those council and assembly newsletters coming!  Auxiliaries and Circles...we'd love to hear from you.
